The bus station in Ninh
Binh is located near the Lim Bridge, just below the
overpass to Phat Diem. Regular public buses leave almost
hourly for the Giap Bat bus station in Hanoi ( 2 hours,
93km). Ninh Binh is also a stop for open-tour buses
between Hanoi ( two hours) and Hue ( 10 hours), which
drop off and pick up passengers at some of the hotels.
Ninh Binh's train station (1 Hoang Hoa Tham) is a
scheduled stop for Reunification Express trains, with
destinations including Hanoi (two to 2 hours, four
daily), Thanh Hoa (one to 1 hours, three daily) and Hue
( 12 to 13 hours, three daily).
Travelling distances to the nearest major towns are 93km
to Hanoi, 60km to Thanh Hoa and 49km to Thai Binh.
Public bus from Hanoi
Ninh Binh is located 91 km from Hanoi and buses from
Hanoi's South Bus Station stop by Ninh Binh; the bus
routes parallel and complement the rail route.
There are regular buses from Hanoi's southern bus
terminal (Giap Bat) that leave every 15 min (or whenever
full). Journey time 2.5 hr.
Open tour buses will drop passengers off upon request (Ninh
Binh is not a regular stop). Most open tour buses from
Hanoi will arrive at 9:30PM.

8h00: Our diver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi
old quarter aand transfer to Ninh Binh City. Short break
in Phu Ly City in Hanam province (20 mins). Arrive in
Ninh Binh around 11:00
Night Bus From Hue To Ninh
Binh
The bus route from Hue to Ninh Binh is a 13-hour
journey, undertaken at night.
Bus depart Hue at 6pm and arrive at Ninh Binh at 7am the
next morning. If you want to stop Dong Hoi, the bus can
stop but the price is similar to Hue- Ninh Binh Route).
Trains Hanoi to Ninh Binh
The railway from Hanoi station to Ninh Binh station is
about 115 Kilometers. There are 5 trains including SE1,
SE5 and SE7 (which belong to Reunification Express
train) on this route. They depart every day and lost
about 3 hours (From Hanoi to Ninh Binh and return). The
types of seats include the hard seat and the soft seat,
called cabin.
Getting around Ninh Binh
Bikes and motorbikes (with or without drivers) can be
hired from most hotels. Bicycle hire usually only costs
around US$ to US$ per day, while motorbikes are around
US$ to US$. A driver's rates will depend on distance and
time, but for a full day is likely to be around US$.
