An's recognition by Unesco as the world cultural and
natural heritage has an important implication, not only
contribute to the protection, restoration of natural
landscape through which will help Trang An complex more
widely known worldwide, attracting a large number of
international tourists to Ninh Binh in general.
Mr Giang Bach Dang, Director of the Center for
Conservation Management of Hoa Lu historic capital said
after Trang An is recognized as a cultural and natural
heritage of the world, the Centre has actively advising
the Board of Management to effectively conserve,
restore, preserve and promote the value of this special
national relic, thus attract more and more tourists to
visit.
In the first 7 months of the year, the ancient capital
of Hoa Lu has received over 158 thousand visits, a
significant increase compared to the same period last
year despite the complicated situation in the South
China Sea that affects the number of Asian visitors
tourist sites throughout the country, but in return back
the number of European tourists has increased
significantly, Ninh Binh has welcomed 47 thousand
international travelers, mostly French, Russian, German,
English...
To attract tourists, Hoa Lu Conservation Center of
history and culture focus on the dissemination and
promotion of the relics through tour guides and
presenters, books, magazines and newspapers and the mass
media. In the first months of the year, the centre has
cooperated with construction units to conduct
renovations in landscape sites like King Dinh and King
Le temples, install a new radio station in the temples
and Hoi bridge, inviteed archaeological experts to
embellish items in the public sector, tracing the
foundation of King Dinh Palace - King Le in the 10th
century, display exhibits and artifacts.
Besides, the Centre has effectively promoted and
encouraged people doing travel services to strictly
observe the rules and regulations of the relic, handling
of violations of law and order, the operations
photographers, serviced households so there is no
sidewalk encroachment, causing inconvenience to
tourists. Therefore, the number of tourists visiting the
sites has increased, especially European tourists.
According to authorities, the recognition by Unesco of
Trang An landscapes will not only promote travel and
tourims in Ninh Binh but is also a chance to create jobs
and increase income for local people in the tourist
sites. Currently, tourism has brought thousands of jobs
for people, in Trang An and Tam Coc alone there are over
2500 people rowing boats for tourists.
